The MSBA is always happy to introduce people of all ages to the sport of fishing.

One of the things that the MSBA used to do is to hold annual sportfishing expos
where we would hook up fishermen of all ages and abilities with fishing rod makers, lure makers, charter boat captains, fellow anglers and other connections from the fishing world.

We also try to include fun in all we do. At our expos, we had an area that allowed children
to have their first experience with casting a lure on a fishing rod in a safe and controlled environment, hosted by past MSBA President Jim Dow.

On the left is a picture from over 10-years ago of then 4-year old Matt honing his casting skills.
On the right is Matt (standing with Jim again) on April 23rd at our monthly membership meeting.

Matt has grown since the first picture and so has his yearning to catch fish and last night, he
attended the meeting as the MSBA's newest club member!
